Bembridge Windmill WI is quite a young group only having been formed in 2006 and, is of course, part of the National Federation of Womens’ Institutes (NFWI).
Our members are from all age groups and backgrounds which makes our meetings lively and interesting.
Our main meetings are held at 7.30pm on the third Monday of each month at The Cloisters, High Street, Bembridge.
These meetings include demonstrations and participation in a variety of activities as well as enjoying talks from a range of interesting speakers on fascinating topics.
We have several friendly groups who meet regularly and we actively support charities through our fundraising events. Our Birthday Lunch is held every October, and is a very relaxed affair, with a chance for a good catch-up.
Our WI also aims to be involved in activities arranged by Federation and the Spithead group.
